BJP takes swipe at ‘CID probe’ into missing samosas meant for CM Sukhu
Even as the state government and the CID deny any probe into the vanishing of samosas, a storm is brewing, with the opposition BJP mocking the alleged CID probe.
The Bandel Gurudwara Singh Sabha spokesperson Devendra Singh Chawla said, “We protest against the defaming and unconstitutional remarks made by a BJP MLA against a Sikh officer on duty at Sandeshkhali.
After the controversy over the racial slur on a Sikh police officer on duty by BJP members, the large Sikh community members residing at Bandel have been hurt. Today, a protest rally was taken out by the people of the community from Bandel Mor (GT Road Junction). Chinsurah MLA Ashit Mazumdar also joined in.
The Bandel Gurudwara Singh Sabha spokesperson Devendra Singh Chawla said, “We protest against the defaming and unconstitutional remarks made by a BJP MLA against a Sikh officer on duty at Sandeshkhali. Calling the IPS officer Khalistani has hurt our pride and sentiments. Our protest rally is completely apolitical yet we request the intervention of chief minister Mamata Banerjee over the issue.
The TMC Chinsurah MLA Ashit Mazumdar said, “Through this incident the real face of BJP has once again been exposed. They are trying to divide the people on communal lines to create unrest in the state. The BJP is fast losing the political ground. They are well aware of their massive defeat in Bengal.
